Ishani founded Serein to help organisations embed inclusion into their business strategy and achieve measurable outcomes. She partners with leaders, startup founders, and investors to design data-driven roadmaps that strengthen workplace culture, enhance decision-making, and unlock innovation.She is a recipient of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award 2023 for the global impact of her work in building inclusive workplaces.
Before founding Serein, Ishani was a scientist at GE Research in the Aerospace Lab. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University, where she developed mathematical models to solve astrophysics problems, and pursued postdoctoral studies at the University of Oxford and St. Thomas Hospital in Biomathematics.
Arathi leads the design and execution of Serein’s measurement tools that help companies connect inclusion efforts with business outcomes. Her work spans benchmarking workplace diversity, assessing bias in recruitment and promotions, and reviewing policies and products through an inclusion lens.
She also facilitates workshops on workplace inclusion, unconscious bias, domestic violence, mental health, and well-being, enabling organisations to translate knowledge into practice.
A published researcher, Arathi holds Master’s degrees in Applied Psychology and Criminology from Bond University, Australia, and brings experience working with diverse groups including refugee communities.
Faakirah brings legal expertise to Serein’s consulting, helping organisations align with global anti-harassment and anti-discrimination standards. She has facilitated 100+ training sessions on the prevention of sexual harassment for employees and internal committees, and provided 150+ hours of consulting on workplace investigations.
Her work spans policy analysis, human rights, and women’s rights, ensuring clients can strengthen compliance while building safe and respectful workplaces. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Kashmir and a Master of Law in Alternative Dispute Resolution from O.P. Jindal School of Law.
Rishab drives long-term partnerships with Serein’s clients, ensuring they see tangible value from their inclusion initiatives. He manages marketing, operations, customer onboarding, contracts, and relationships while also creating engaging content that amplifies Serein’s impact.
With a background in directing and filmmaking, Rishab brings creativity to how complex workplace topics are communicated. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with Honours from CHRIST University, Bangalore, and has directed short films on social issues including menstruation stigma, widowhood, and adoption.
Rekha is the Chief of Staff and Organization Development at Serein. She leads people operations and organizational initiatives at Serein, spanning hiring, onboarding, engagement and development.
Rekha also drives engagement initiatives that strengthen connection, trust, and well-being across teams. In addition to her people leadership role, she supports the CEO on operations — coordinating strategic priorities, key communications, and cross-functional projects to ensure alignment and execution. Holding a degree in English from Bangalore University, Rekha brings experience in HR and project management across varied industries, combining structure with empathy to create people-centered, high-performing workplaces.
Patricia advises organisations on linking innovation and inclusion strategies. At Serein, she helps partners design proposals and secure funding for research and development projects, while ensuring their workplace cultures support these goals.
She has extensive experience working with companies and public research institutions in Spain, and previously managed projects at the University of Oxford. Patricia holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology, which adds depth to her understanding of organisational dynamics.

Serein is seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Director – Inside Sales to lead and scale our B2B SaaS and consulting sales across India and international markets (India/Overseas split: 70% India, 30% ex-India).
This role is ideal for a strategic, results-oriented sales leader who combines deep SaaS sales experience with consulting and solution-selling expertise, particularly in B2B US markets.
The Senior Sales Director will be responsible for driving inside sales growth, leading a high- performing team, and collaborating closely with marketing and delivery teams to convert leads into high-value Consulting projects, and workshops/trainings , SaaS subscriptions.
As a Client Engagement Consultant at Serein, Claudia is mostly responsible for outreach and supporting the development of inclusive workplace content. Her work is grounded in an academic background in politics and visual culture, with a focus on the politics of memory and representation, particularly around identity, diaspora, and transnationalism.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from University College London and a Master of Science in Contemporary Chinese Studies from the University of Oxford
Aparna oversees finance and operations at Serein and manages relationships with over 500 long-term partners. She supports clients in staying compliant with the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) law while aligning compliance with culture-building efforts.
She also facilitates workshops on safe and respectful workplaces in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, ensuring accessibility for diverse workforces. Aparna holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.
Mai Iida is a Tokyo-based professional with 10+ years of experience in startups, operations, and venture capital. Mai focuses on areas like education, mental health, women’s health, culture, and diversity.
She works with the Serein team as a consultant, helping us create businesses and work environments that support people and society. Fluent in Japanese and English, Mai is an integral part of our global programs and is essential to designing workplace interventions that are creative and accessible. She has a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Tokyo and studied at International Christian University and the London School of Economics.
Anisha facilitates workshops at Serein, guiding conversations that help organisations create safe, respectful, and inclusive workplaces. She also conducts research on workplace dynamics, which informs customised learning experiences for clients.
With a background in History, particularly gender and early feminism in colonial South Asia, Anisha brings depth and perspective to her facilitation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History (Hons.) from Gargi College, University of Delhi, and studied for an MPhil in World History at the University of Cambridge.
Nandini designs research-driven assessment tools at Serein, including benchmarking indices, inclusion assessments, and employee experience surveys. She helps organisations translate data into actionable insights that strengthen workplace culture and business performance.
She also develops industry-specific research, toolkits, and playbooks that enable leaders to implement sustainable inclusion strategies. Nandini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics & Statistics from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore.
Siri advises clients as a Safety and PoSH Expert at Serein, serving as an External Member of Internal Complaints Committees. She consults on legal procedures, best practices, and compliance frameworks, enabling organisations to sustain safe and inclusive work cultures.
A Gold Medallist, Siri holds a BBA, LLB (Hons.) from Christ University and a Master’s degree in International Employment Relations from the London School of Economics, where she also served as the EDI Officer.
Emmanuel supports Serein’s global clients in integrating inclusion into organisational design and operations. He facilitates sessions that connect inclusive workplace principles with business impact, drawing on his experience in sustainable architecture and project management.
He holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Architecture from SRM University and has over 15 years of experience as a researcher, lecturer, and consultant. Emmanuel has published widely in academic journals and brings a practical, inclusive approach to consulting and training.
Amaan creates animations and learning content that make Serein’s consulting both engaging and impactful. His design work supports training, marketing, and client communications, helping organisations connect with inclusion initiatives in meaningful ways.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design specialising in Animation Film Design from Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune, and brings creative leadership across projects that require clarity, resonance, and visual storytelling.
Ruchika contributes research and facilitation expertise at Serein, focusing on domestic violence, sexual harassment, employee well-being, and women’s leadership. She also writes thought leadership pieces for Serein’s blog, helping clients connect inclusion issues with workplace strategy.
A published author and academic, Ruchika has taught History at the University of Delhi for over a decade. She holds a Ph.D. in History from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has written extensively on gender and social history.
Anjali serves as a PoSH and Inclusion Expert at Serein and as an External Member of Internal Committees. She supports clients in aligning compliance with culture change by addressing workplace safety, respect, and belonging.
She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Montfort College, Bangalore, and brings strong expertise in mental health and social impact to her consulting and facilitation work.
Elina is a certified coach who facilitates sensitisation sessions for Serein’s global clients, helping leaders and teams unlock their potential through inclusive practices. She partners with organisations across 30+ countries, blending coaching and facilitation to support both performance and culture goals.
With over 1,000 hours of individual coaching and 400 hours of team facilitation, Elina brings deep expertise aligned with the International Coaching Federation’s Core Competencies and Code of Ethics.
Abhishek heads Financial Strategies at Serein. He is responsible for overseeing finance, Corporate Secretarial (CS) related work, and compliance among other things. He is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in finance and corporate governance. With over 15 years of expertise as a qualified Company Secretary, he has made significant contributions to the finance departments of companies within the real estate and startup sectors.
Having worked with organisations operating across multiple countries, Abhishek brings a deep understanding of international taxation to the table. Notably, he achieved an impressive 42nd rank in 12th grade under the AP Education Board, demonstrating a strong academic foundation to complement his professional achievements.
Prahlad creates visual content that enhances how Serein delivers inclusion-focused consulting and training. His expertise as an animator and illustrator helps clients engage with complex topics through striking, accessible visuals.
He holds a Master’s Diploma in Animation from the Asian Institute of Design and has a track record of delivering impactful design for digital media projects.
Leela is a sales support and coordination intern, responsible for reaching out to potential clients for long-term partnerships. Alongside sales and marketing, she helps with administrative operations and research.
Leela is in her final year at the London School of Economics, studying BSc International, Social and Public Policy. Her research is mainly dedicated to gender policies in the Global South.
Abhirame is a designer who combines creativity and empathy to create visuals that engage and connect. With an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction (with Distinction) from Newcastle University, UK, and a background as a Dentist, she brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her work.
Driven by curiosity and a passion for learning and storytelling, Abhirame crafts thoughtful designs that turn complex ideas into clear, human-centred experiences.
Dikshita supports Serein’s finance and compliance functions, ensuring accuracy and transparency in client-facing and internal operations. She brings expertise in accounting, auditing, taxation, and corporate compliance gained through hands-on articleship training.
A CA Finalist with a B.Com degree, she combines technical proficiency with the ability to support diverse teams and business needs.
Caroline Lalou is a French legal researcher in human rights, Rights of Nature, and animal law. She holds a PhD in International Human Rights Law (Queen Mary University) and a Diploma in Animal Law (University of Toulon, valedictorian).
After 23 years in India working on child rights, NGOs, community waste management, and pioneering equine-assisted therapy, she returned to France as a pro-bono lawyer with Notre Affaire à Tous, ASPAS delegate, and author on Rights of Nature and climate justice. She is fluent in French, English, and speaks Hindi.
Avishek Mitra is an accomplished Customer Success Manager at Serein with over eight years of specialised experience driving client adoption, retention, and strategic growth across SaaS, HRTech, and FinTech sectors. He excels at building long-term strategic partnerships and aligning business value with customer objectives to ensure mutual success.
Managing the complete customer lifecycle, Avishek oversees onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion for his client portfolio. He serves as the primary contact, building trusted relationships through regular check-ins and strategic business reviews. His proactive approach includes monitoring client health, mitigating churn, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that drive renewals and showcase client success.
With a BA (Hons) in Psychosocial Studies from Birkbeck, University of London, and a degree in Business Management Process from Estácio University, São Paulo, Mel combines strong academic training in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) with extensive experience supporting companies in Brazil. She has worked across HR, Marketing, and Compliance, helping organisations with data analysis, reporting, and process optimisation, while maintaining effective communication with clients.
At Serein, Mel applies her analytical skills and interest in psychosocial dynamics to assist companies in achieving practical and impactful solutions.
Kaushik has 14+ years of experience across IoT, Systems, Gaming, and Telecom, building high volume production applications and products with worldwide presence.
He looks after the technology and education segment of Krishworks, and has built Ed-Tech products to improve English Literacy in rural areas of India with QR coded books, Smart Classrooms, Teacher Trainings and increased involvement of parents.
Kaushik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. He mentors a young and dynamic team aligned to the vision of Krishworks. Outside of work, he is a fitness and technology enthusiast, and loves running and swimming.
