The PoSH Act 2013 is India’s law mandating all companies with 10 employees or more to have mechanisms to prevent, prohibit, and redress workplace sexual harassment.
Penalties include fines up to ₹50,000, cancellation of licenses, reputational damage, and repeated violations leading to stricter legal consequences for employers.
Employers must create a PoSH policy, form an Internal Committee (IC), conduct annual training for their IC and employees, and submit annual reports.
